The latest method for removing the enamel coating from copper wire
2022-07-20
1. The copper wire stripping method (BT-104 copper wire stripping powder) is specifically designed for removing the enamel coating from AI (200-grade) and PI (220-grade) wires used in voice coils, and is suitable for use on assembly lines.
2. Method for removing varnish from enameled copper wire (using BT-104 copper wire varnish removal powder): Heat to 300–350℃ and apply directly to melt the varnish coating completely, leaving no residue behind.
3. Method for stripping enamel from copper wire (BT-104 Copper Wire Stripping Powder): Environmentally friendly (RoHS-compliant), fast—removal takes only 3–5 seconds.
Operating parameters (Technical parameters):
The BT-104E enameled wire stripper is white and powdery;
Process:
Enamelled wire → Immerse in stripping agent for 3–5 seconds (heated to 300–350℃) → Rinse with water → Immerse in BT-122 red solution → Rinse with water → Solder
Packaging, Transport and Storage
The BT-104 is packaged in acid- and alkali-resistant plastic bottles with a capacity of 500 g per bottle. Each carton contains 20 bottles.
This product should be stored in a dark, dry place at a temperature below 25°C and kept separate from organic materials, reducing chemicals, and acidic substances. The shelf life is 12 months.
During transportation, protect the product from exposure to sunlight and rain, high temperatures, leakage, compression, and breakage.
Attention
Since this product is used under high-temperature conditions, you should take care to wear protective gloves, protective clothing, a mask, and goggles when using it. Avoid contact with skin to prevent splashes from injuring your eyes and skin. If the product does splash onto your skin, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water (seek medical attention if symptoms are severe). During the initial heating process, be sure to cover the container with an iron lid to prevent paint stripper powder from splashing due to uneven heating as it melts. Only open the lid and use the product normally once the paint stripper powder has completely melted. Since the paint stripper powder is highly hygroscopic, after ceasing use, store it in a tightly sealed container to prevent it from absorbing moisture. If you plan to reuse it, first wipe off any surface moisture with a dry cloth or paper towel, then cover the container and heat it up to 100°C for a period of time. Once all the moisture has evaporated, increase the temperature to the working range of 350–380°C.
