What’s the difference between copper enameled wire and copper-clad aluminum enameled wire?
The dielectric strength ratings for enameled wire are generally as follows: Class 1: 1,000–2,000 V; Class 2: 1,900–3,800 V. The dielectric strength of enameled wire is related to its specifications and the grade of its enamel coating; for detailed information, please refer to GB/T 6109.1-2008 standard. Enameled wire consists of two main components: a conductor and an insulating layer. After the bare wire has been annealed to soften it, it undergoes multiple coats of enamel followed by baking. Enameled wire is a key raw material for products such as motors, electrical appliances, and household appliances. In particular, in recent years, with the sustained rapid growth of the power industry and the rapid development of household appliances, the application of enameled wire has expanded into broader fields, thereby placing increasingly higher demands on this type of wire.
